This album came out of a desire to transform my electronic compositions into live improvisational performances. First I chopped some existing compositions into various loops of beats, bass lines and melodies that would work together, adding or modifying parts to create a new variation. Then I created several new compositions using the same building block approach. Finally I play these in a live remix while adding keyboard, guitar and voice.

"The Warmth of Well Being" and "Become One" are from my 2019 album "Hapticity". "Tree Whisperer" and "Like Puppies" are from my 2021 album "A Gentle Dance". Finally, the new track "Pounder" quotes melodies improvised on the recording of "Joy", a track from my 2022 album "Self Portrait (in 5 summer jams)". The other five compositions are completely new.
